SUSE 2024 Event Marketing Strategy

Our long term strategic partners, SUSE, approached us at the end of 2023 to help plan their event marketing activities for 2024.

The Brief:

With SUSE being one of our first clients, and having worked with them for years, we hold a deep understanding of their service offering, marketing objectives and target audience.

We put our heads together to create a bespoke event marketing plan for 2024, focusing on a mix of private events and Summit sponsorships that would enable the maximum cut through with SUSE’s target audience.

The Work:

We put together an event marketing plan for the first half of 2024 that included:

  • An executive Roundtable campaign on “Mastering Cloud Security” that executed in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, enabling high-level conversations with SUSE’s audience focused on their product and service offering designed to maximise new opportunities and convert meetings

  • Various sponsorships at relevant Cloud Security and DevOps focused Clutch Events including:

    • Panel Sponsorship at the 2024 Melbourne Cloud Security Summit

    • Panel Sponsorship at the 2024 Sydney Cloud Security Summit

    • Panel Sponsorship at the 2024 Melbourne AppSec & DevSecOps Summit

      Panel Sponsorship at the 2024 Sydney Cloud Native Development & DevOps Summit

In total, the campaign ran as:

  • February - Brisbane Roundtable

  • March - Melbourne Cloud Security Summit

  • March - Sydney Roundtable

  • March - Canberra Roundtable

  • April - Melbourne Roundtable

  • August - Sydney Cloud Security Summit

  • September - Melbourne AppSec & DevSecOps Summit

  • October - Sydney Cloud Native & DevOps Summit


The
Outcome:

With the events designed around SUSE’s target audience, they were able to connect with over 20 of their target accounts in the first half of 2024 directly. Event at Clutch Summits, where sponsors are able to provide their target accounts and our talented audience acquisition team invited them directly.

With this campaign, SUSE reached over 90 people through Roundtable events and gathered exposure with over 500+ potential customers at our Summit events.
