Sonatype DevSecOps Leaders Networking

Sonatype came to Clutch looking to connect with DevSecOps leaders in Auckland to explore the importance of securing software supply chains.

The Brief:

Given Sonatype’s specific product offering and it’s incredible relevance to the DevSecOps community, they worked with us to create a casual networking-style evening event for DevSecOps & Development leaders in Auckland. The event would feature a casual presentation from Edwin Kwan, Head of Advisory at Tyro Payments on how to ensure the security of your software supply chain.

The Work:

We put together a list of almost all DevSecOps and Development professionals that fit Sonatype’s target audience criteria in Auckland, and designed an event that would be extremely appealing to this audience. Ensuring the format and venue were suitably casual to facilitate authentic networking and connections, we worked with our local Auckland Team to deliver this onsite with our clients.

The
Outcome:

We were joined by 37 DevSecOps and Developers on the day, with 100% of attendees being from the client’s target audience. Job titles included VP of Engineering, Head of Engineering, DevSecOps Leads, Chief Product & Technical Officers, Senior DevOps Engineers, Senior DevOps Engineers & Architects and other Technical Leaders.

Event
in Review:

Topics covered on the day included:

  1. Incorporate security earlier in the software development process

  2. Leverage DevSecOps methodologies to secure the software supply chain and accelerate software development

  3. Empower developers to increase release velocity, securely, at scale
