Google, Mantel Group, and Clutch ran a Sydney Financial Crime and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) leader roundtable focused on incorporating AI into AML operations.
The Brief:
Google and Mantel Group, as part of the launch of a new AI product, aimed to run a morning event for Financial Crime and AML Leaders. They desired a larger event comprising a combination of presentations and small-group roundtable discussions, targeting large buying teams from a select group of financial organisations.
The main topics they wanted to explore were:

Navigating the AI Landscape: Risks and Challenges in Financial Crime Prevention
The Work:
We collaborated with Google and Mantel Group to deliver the breakfast event in Sydney at the Google Office.
The Outcome:
The event had 53 Financial Crime and AML Leaders (45% Heads of and above) from 24 organisations, with strong representation from the big 4 banks, as well as brands such as Macquarie Group, Tabcorp, and the Star Entertainment Group.
The event led to 14 meetings post-event and laid the groundwork for a new marketing strategy aimed at actively engaging this persona in the future.
